Designed by Robert Lee Morris for Donna Karan. Part of the 1986 A/W collection and one of the rare collections where semiprecious stones were used. The collection featured sculptural, heavy pieces in gold-plated and matte-finished metals, designed to complement the earthy-toned garments created by Donna.

The earrings feature a dark green stone called Serpentine - the name comes from the greenish color and smooth or scaly appearance from the Latinserpentinus, meaning "snake-like".

Gold plated over brass.

Clip on (could also easily be altered to pierced)
