Incredible maxi length column style dress by Balenciaga (Edition). We love the soft gathered overlay which drapes lower at the back, creating a sleek and sculptural draped silhouette. With internal built in corset for structure around the bodice and the overlay is secured in place with discreet popper fastenings. Main body of dress is secured with a side zip closure. Fully lined in silk. Colour - Ivory.
The Balenciaga Edition line was created in 2012 to create designs based around the archives of Cristóbal Balenciaga's couture collections. This style in particular is reminiscent of style ‘135’ from Balenciaga’s S/S 1961 collection. A truly special and unique piece.
